There are tons of articles out there about layoffs, finding new jobs, saving money, etc. Lately though, more and more of these articles seem to be appearing online. One of the blogs I read often, Get Rich Slowly, has a round-up of some articles and stories from people who have been laid-off in the past. Then there's the section about recession-proofing your job.
Can you really recession-proof your job though? What about recession-proof jobs? Is there really such a thing as a recession proof-job?
Doubtful you can recession-proof anything 100%, but at least you can take the precaution so you won't have to struggle in the case of a lay-off.
